Cajun Blackened Shrimp Pasta is spicy, filling, and a fun departure from traditional Italian pasta.
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is cooking season the shrimp with blackened spices on all sides. Then in a heavy skillet, heat oil over medium heat, and saute the shrimp for about 3 -5 minutes or until done. Remove from pan and set aside.
Into the same pan, add onion, tomatoes, and garlic. Stir for couple of minutes, until the onion starts to be translucent and then add thyme, blackened spice, paprika, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Finally, combine the pasta with sauce, toss and serve with blackened shrimp.
