Ramen Tare

Ramen Tare is the sauce that distinguishes regular soup from Ramen! Elevate your bowl of ramen with a simple Tare that is a savory umami bomb.

Ingredients
 ½ cup Mirin (Sweet Japanese Wine)
 ¼ cup Soy Sauce
 ½ cup Miso
 1 tbsp scallion, chopped
 1 tbsp ginger, grated
 1 tbsp garlic, minced

In a small pot, add the mirin, soy sauce, and miso over medium heat. Break up the miso with a wooden spoon and stir everything together until it is a smooth consistency.

Add in the garlic, ginger, and scallions.

Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 25 minutes, until thickened.

Let cool slightly, then spoon over ramen broth and enjoy!
