Our Chocolate and Banana Pastry Ring is an easy dessert to make but is an absolute showstopper in terms of presentation and taste!
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Roll out your puff pastry sheets into large rectangles. Cut each sheet into 4 triangles by cutting each sheet in half and then in half again.
On a prepared baking sheet, line up the pastry triangles into a ring, making sure the flat ends overlap in the center.
Brush the melted milk chocolate and spread over the triangles. Then, arrange the banana slices in the ring. Top with the dark chocolate squares and crushed almonds
Fold each triangle tip to the inside of the ring, creating a wreath shape.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Brush this over top of the pastry.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
