This recipe is so decadent, it always makes me feel like I'm a guest at a really fancy cocktail party. Gorgonzola Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates are a heavenly combination of creamy cheese, sweet dates, and crispy salty bacon. What more could you want? If you are having a party, and want to impress your guests with an interesting appetizer, look no further! Easy and quick, you can even stuff and wrap these ahead and store them in the fridge. When you're ready, just pop these out and bake them in the oven until crispy.

 12 dates
 4 oz Gorgonzola cheese
 6 bacon, halved

Preheat the oven to 400 F.

Remove the pits from dates. Fill with approximately 1/4 oz. Gorgonzola cheese. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon. Secure with toothpicks. Place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for approximately 7 minutes. Flip dates and cook an additional 7 minutes, or just until the bacon is crispy.
