Just in time for Valentine's Day, 3-Ingredient Chocolate Hazelnut Cheese Cake will impress your sweetheart and save you a lot of frustration from more complicated dessert recipes.
Make this recipe your own with different garnishes on top. Chopped hazelnuts, fresh strawberries, or even heart sprinkles will add a personal touch to this easy dessert and will make it seem much more complicated than it really is.
In a large bowl, use your hands to crush the cornflakes into small pieces, about a quarter of their original size.
Add 3/4 cup of chocolate hazelnut spread to the crushed cornflakes. Mix until everything is well coated.
Press this mixture in a greased, lined 9-inch springform pan. Make sure to really compact the crust in an even layer.
Freeze the crust while you make the filling.
To make the cheesecake filling, combine the rest of your hazelnut chocolate spread and the cream cheese. Using a hand mixer, whip the mixture until light and fluffy.
Spread the filling over the crust. Cover the whole cake and chill in the fridge or in the freezer until ready to serve.
Remove from the springform pan and serve with chopped hazelnuts or fresh fruit. If your cheesecake was in the freezer, make sure that it defrosts before serving.
